At Dachshund Puppy Store, we are committed to responsible placement and the long-term well-being of our puppies. Because adopting a puppy is a serious commitment, we encourage all families to carefully consider their decision before reserving.

Please review our refund and return policy below.

Deposits

All reservation deposits are non-refundable.

Deposits secure your selected puppy and remove them from availability. Once a puppy is reserved, we decline other inquiries and opportunities for placement.

In certain circumstances, and at our sole discretion, a deposit may be transferred to a future litter.

Final Payments

Final payments are generally non-refundable once the puppy has been prepared for pickup or delivery.

If unforeseen circumstances arise prior to pickup, please contact us immediately to discuss possible options.

Health-Related Returns

If a licensed veterinarian diagnoses a serious, life-threatening genetic condition covered under our Health Guarantee, we must be notified immediately.

Any return related to a medical concern must:

  • Be supported by written documentation from a licensed veterinarian

  • Occur within the timeframe outlined in the signed purchase agreement

  • Follow the terms specified in our Health Guarantee

Resolutions may include replacement or partial refund as outlined in the sales contract.

Returns Due to Change of Circumstances

We understand that life situations can change. However, we do not issue refunds due to:

  • Changes in personal circumstances

  • Housing or landlord restrictions

  • Allergies discovered after purchase

  • Family disagreements or lifestyle changes

If an owner can no longer care for their puppy, we encourage contacting us. We are committed to assisting with responsible rehoming whenever possible.

Our Right to Refuse Sale

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a sale at any time if we believe placement is not in the best interest of the puppy. In such cases, any deposit or payment made will be refunded.
